This is one of the best run, cleanest and all around most perfect hostels I`ve ever staid in.. The Staff are extremely polite, speak english quite well and are very glad to assist you in any way. The Internet computers are available 24 hours a day and are free. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo . There is also a good 24 hour resturaunt called Jonathans down the street and a 99 yen store three blocks away..Stay here and you wont be dissapointed... The only complaint I would log is that the place can get quite heavy in cigarette smoke, as they allow indoor smoking...WARNING--DON`T STAY HERE IF YOU HATE CIGARETTE SMOKE--AS THE LOBBY IS SOMETIMES VERY HEAVY WITH SMOKE....

I liked the Oak Hotel. It was cute, clean, friendly. Room was small but perfectly nice, rates were good, shower was hot. Only downside for me was location - during the day it was fine but at night I always wanted to be on the other side of Tokyo, a problem when the trains stop running at 12:30am.
