With a rental car it's not easy to find the Old Jaffa Hostel. Nobody in the area seamed to know where to find it. The breakfast was bad: upstears you find coffee and tea and some coockies. That was all. The location is near the Shouk which was nice in daytime.

This is a really exceptional and beautiful place. It's also very clean! If you're visiting Tel Aviv, stay there (there're loads of buses that will take you to the center, AND you're right next to the beach).

The roof was superb and the staff very helpful.

While this hostel could have been a little cleaner, it had a great, relaxed vibe and the staff was very helpful. We loved having coffee on the roof every morning, looking down on Jaffa with a great view of the ocean! We adored the location as well - a short walk to Tel Aviv, the beach, and seconds away from some great restaurants. Out of the 4 places we stayed in Israel, this was our favorite!

Staff was very helpful, but it was incredibly hot (no AC.) The bathrooms are tiny and the shower pressure is really weak. I only stayed one night, on my way to the airport. The rooftop garden was nice, made the evening heat bearable.

I had an excellent stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location with gorgeous roof terrasse. could have been cleaner though, but thats a minor thing compared to all the positive sides. All in all I definitely recommend the place. If you go to Tel Aviv to party only, it's probably better to find somewhere more central, but Old Jaffa is a great place to chill!

Because of local regulations, our family stay (partially on the popular roof) had to be altered, which worked out best for all. Lots of character and history in this hostel, staff works hard to make stay pleasant.

THis place was great... however, if you plan to spend more than a few days there, dont stay in the dorm beds! Great people there and an excellent start in Israel
