This place has a great location couldnt not ask for more, could be cleaner but fine. The only problem is there are no communal areas, no tv lounge for example, but thats ok as the location makes up for it. Just watch out for the creepy security guard, there are two, one of whom is lovely, (the Tall one), the smaller one insisted on walking me to a pay phone when I went to make a call, during which time he quized me on boyfriends, asked me on a date and grabbed my hand, I have never been so scared and was scared to go downstairs on my own for the rest of my stay in case I saw him. We also had our door opened by key a couple of times by randoms. I wouldnt stay here again if he worked her still.

I found the rooms themselves very clean but I would like to suggest additional shower floor mats be provided as by the time 5 people have showered, the single mat is usually soaking wet and dirty. I also felt that too many people were moving rooms unnecessarily. Perhaps your booking system could be reviewed so that more people can stay in just the one room for the duration of their stay. I would also be very welcome, having heard the same comment several times, if more than one key was available for each room. Other than than that I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

If you want an early night and are planning to stay at this hostel I would say choose some where else, out of temple bar. It is incredibly noisy here. They have a strange and annoying key policy for the dorms, as in there is only 1 key per dorm. So when you retire to your room you have to run the key back down to reception, and if the door closes in the process, back down you go. Also they have no where to store luggage on check out, very annoying. Good points are great continental brekkie, and nice clean rooms.

Breakfast poor. Door staff in bar wouldn't let us in despite living upstairs. Great location and good rooms. Nice to stay in a clean hostel!

Pros: Perfect Location. Good beds. Better than expected breakfast because the food in Ireland is worse than bad. Good athmosphere at pub but very expensive (Temple Bar) Contras. A little bit noisy at night. Rooms very lightly equiped but correct. Old bathroom but clean and correct.
