Very helpful staff. Called Jameson's for us and found out that they are closed until St. Paddy's day for refurbishment. Don't take the red hop on and hop off bus. They had half the number of busses and didn't live up to the promise of a bus every 15 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes. UGH.

Our room was very noisy and near the pub. Bring your earplugs.

the location was good, but the room was filthy. when we arrived, there was rubbish in the room, dirty tissues and an empty suitcase from the last people. we asked the guy on reception would it be cleaned and he assured us it would. but it wasn't. at half past eight that night, the girl at the check in desk had to ring a cleaner to come across town and change our bed sheets. manager was very unhelpful. would not recommend this hostel

Great time you meet so many people, its a blast. The location couldn't be better your in the heart of temple bar and all the action is centered around you. There aren't many sites to see in dublin i'd recomend a friday, satuday stay.

um, if you don't drink or are too young to drink there is no point in staying in temple bar. And if you are staying there you just get kept up by all those who do drink till all hours of not only the night but the morning too. your 'tv lounge' was not so lounge-ish, but more of a bar. it was not comfortable to just chill there. but the rooms were nice and the place was clean.

Location is perfect, rooms are clean, bedclothes are clean and smell very fresh which makes going bed after a great party in a pub downstairs(the best place in whole Dublin!) really nice.
It's a good hostel I would reccomended for all party animals coming here with their friends but as I was also staying here 2 nights alone I found that quite tuff to make friends.
Anyway I'm already planning to come soon and stay there for another long weekend this summer.

this place is amazing. i was here 3 weeks ago, came back for one night, and they not only recognized me, they remembered my name. if you're going to stay anywhere in dublin, this place should be it. it's not near temple bar, it IS temple bar

This hostel was a really good choice. The location was excellent and the staff were awsome. We also liked that the rooms were cleaned every day and that breakfast was included. Even though it did have a lounge/tv room, the place was so busy and booked that the lounge was often rented out, so don't count on it being available for usel. Our only complaint was that there was only one key per room, and we got locked out twice because of room mates taking the key with them.
