Not really a hostel... but more like a bar that happens to rent rooms.

The PnL is a sweet hostel that is a lot of fun. The staff is fun and super helpful and know a lot about Paris and enjoy helping you find activities.

For the first hostel i stayed in, it was alright. The bar is small, but you can definitly meet alot of people here. The room i stayed in was a little small, but it worked out no problem. By the looks of some of the other hostels i was looking at, this one would definitly be an alright pick.

The staff were largely unprofessional, rude, and made me feel uncomfortable for my safety, barring one woman. The service was poor and the atmosphere is noisy and sort of dirty.

This was a great place to have fun, chill and just chat with other travelers. it is a bit of a travel to the major tourist attractions, but the hostel is located just seconds from a metro stop, so it isnt too bad. the staff is really friendly and helpful, which is a plus, altho the tight stairs are difficult to managed with lots of baggage.

Very nice people at this hostel. There are very steap stairs you must climb and there are a lot of them. Not to bad rooms, very small, but we did have some ants...

We booked 6 beds for 3 nights, and were only given 5. Lucky that two of us were planning on shring a bed. The staff seemed pretty laid back, and as such nobody honours the checking out time. This meant that when we arrived in the morning after travelling all night, our beds were not available until gone 4pm, despite telling them we'd be arriving at 10am on the booking. The location is really noisy, there are literally sirens every few minutes. The backpackers there seemed to be enjoying themselves, I guess they must have seen worse places, but if you're just looking for a weekend away on a budget I'd suggest paying a little more for somewhere nicer.

not a bad place to stay, however, there is no lift, and the stairs are very tight and there are only 3 rooms per floor. so if you are in room 15, it´s 104 steps! other than that, it´s okay. we had a booking problem, and they sorted it out for us easily.
