The hostel itself was a little dodgy... the rooms very very small, lots of steep stairs to climb, no lockers, and the "ensuite" consisted of a shower exposed in the middle of the bedroom(which was rather interesting in a co-ed room)! But the fun made up for it! Great people, fun bar, nice staff. And definitely do the walking tour and 3 course meal on Sunday nights! It was one of the highlights of my trip!

For us it was a really good stay, very clean & there's mostly friendly staff. We were at the 8th floor, where you have to walk up stairs, which is very exhausting. Therefor it's quiet enough to sleep and you have an own bathroom with shower. When you stay longer (we were there only for two nights) perhaps some things could get disturbing but then you will also get the possibility to get to know other very interesting guests from many different countries. Nice greetings to our american roommate!

If you are unlucky enough to get the first floor you definately will not be sleeping well as the bar is right below and super noisy until 1.45am! Plus the street noise is awful, don't stay here if you want to sleep! Glad they mention it but try to get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floors and a window away from the street!

It should be great to know if your assigned room is on the eigth floor because really, it's very hard to go up every day all these stairs, and maybe a diningroom outside the bar will be really nice, because at the bar the music is too loud and everybody is drinking and smoking and you only want to have dinner, or if this is not possible maybe a pair of chairs in the kitchen will do it^^
But in general it was all really good and fun.
Thanks a lot!!!!

Rooms somewhat cramped and if your room is higher upstairs, the constant walks up are gonna kill you. The bar is really awesome though and the location is a decent walk (around 10-15 minutes) from some good sights. Or if you don't want to walk the metro is less than a 5 minute walk from the hostel. The best part though is being able to get a good, real coffee the second you wake up, from the bar.

fun place... the staff are very friendly, the bar is a great place to meet people from all over the world. shower is in your room, with no curtain... so kindly ask your 2 roomates to step outside for ten minutes is probably the best solution. if you're looking to sleep early the bar is open till 2 so the music is playing until then, and it might bother you even though you're a couple flights up. location is nothing special but it's right next to the metro which is very easy to use.
