Great location and quite clean. There were one or two cockroaches and a few ants but with Malaysia's rubbish disposal issues, I guess this is probably common in KL.

When I first stayed here, I thought it would be impossible to find a worse room. I returned (don't ask, late at night, at least I could find the place) only to find that I'd been wrong. The next night I spent in a chair at the airport; it was much more comfortable.

A nice relaxed oasis centrally located in the urban hustle of KL, Pujangga is an ideal base for the backpacker who doesn't require the cheapest accomodation. Not to say that it's expensive (a single room for about 9 pounds a night) but you can find shoddier accomodation in Chinatown for less. The rooms are fairly clean by hostel standards here, there's enough room to lounge around, socially it's quite varied and friendly.....altogether a pleasant expereince!

I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Room was comfortable and clean. But the bathroom was terrible. It was very dirty and badly needed to be cleaned. I would definately stay again but I would recommend people to wear shoes in the shower!

The staff were really nice guys, very helpful. They made a good effort to keep it clean, although the washroom facilities were a little dodgy. Everything worked, but the ant infestation wasn't pleasant. The location wasn't bad; the area was kinda ghetto, but not unsafe. Quieter than Chinatown. Good, cheap food nearby, and big malls a short walk away. Petronas towers and KL Tower not far either!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Pujangga homestay! The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a great atmosphere amongst the guests. PLenty of facilities so there was never a need to wait to use shower/toilet. Mixed dorm was a bit cosy when full. Well located if you don't mind a short walk to the main attractions.

Expensive for what we get. poor showers and toilets, no housekeeper, white toasts and cheap jam for breakfast, expensive laundry (and didnt even wash properly!), very small recreation room... location is OK altough dangerous place for women to walk alone in this area. For a couple of extra dollars its possible to get something a lot better...

Pros: Very clean, helpful staff and fast internet connection. Cons: Terrible breakfast, not isolated toilets, awful bunk bed rooms.
