I haven't had a lot of hostel experience but the Red Palm staff and facility made me feel like I was at home again. The place was fantastic and I will recommend it to anyone I know going there. I can truly say anytime I go back to KL - it is my new home away from home.

we stayed at Red Palm after 10 days on Tioman Island as we wanted to see KL before we went home - it was extremely friendly and cheap, we had a double room which was spacious and that we could lock, air conditioning and everything was clean. They even gave us towels and did our washing for us! in my experience that's above the call of duty for a hostel. it was also nice to have cereal, toast and fruit available all day...nice and bright and comfy and in a really good spot - the only thing is they don't have the name of the hostel on the outside so you have to read the instructions they give for their address...!

The staff at red palm were really helpful and friendly and the hostel was a good point from which to explore KL. They gave us some good tips about where to eat etc and made us feel at home. Will definetely recommend this hostel to friends going to KL.

Basic rooms, functional with a touch of color, clean, great access to kitchenette and internet (3MR per hour) and laundry in-house. Overall good value.

I've travelled through 22 countries and 100's of hostels. This hostel rates in my top 10! Its relaxing and friendly. The staff were extreamly genuine and always made sure you were enjoying K.L to the max. Its a comfertable size and was booked out the week I stayed. I'll be back!!!
