The staff was very friendly and helpful. Took care of booking anything - taxis, tours, etc. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Security only 80% because rooms were not locked. However it was a safe place. Even though I had some expensive equipment with me I didn't feel it was at risk (to the extent I didn't even bother asking if there was a locker to put things in).
The Red Palm has such a friendly and cozy atmosphere. I felt very much welcomed and at home there, which is important for tired travelers.
