I m v pleased with the service - i think the hotel is very well-run. I can see the effort and the sincerity to try to assist the guests. I appreciate that. Only like to request some hanging hooks made available in the shower room. i find it so helpless, unable to hang towels or clothes. Breakfast was generous. I m coming back again on 8 Aug. :)

Rembrandt Square Hotel was the cleanest hostel I've stayed in BY FAR (& I've stayed in about 8 throughout Europe)! My uncle warned me about hostels in Amsterdam being moist and having bad mold problems, but this definitely was NOT the case with Rembrandt Square Hotel. The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is filling. It's right above a "coffeeshop"/bar/club but other than that, I highly recommend this hostel and will definitely stay here again!
Hotel très bien situé proche des musées et du centre Par contre plusieurs boites de nuit jouxte l'hotel: du bruit de 22h00 à 9h00 du matin le week end - bouchon d'oreille obligatore ! Accueil plutot sympatique Chambre de 4 avec salle de bain: pas de serrure a la porte de la chambre, un seul casier sur quatre avec serrure dans la chambre... plutot lamentable pas de rideau à la fenetre de toit... Lit refait tous les jours, draps pas toujours propre; salle de bain propre et par terre assez propre. bonne trouvaille: point d'accès wifi disponible dans la chambre bonne frequentation de l'hotel; californien de passage en juillet

Pas mal mais attention : il y a en fait deux endroits. L'hotel en lui meme est propre et sympa, par contre pour les reservations en grand lit double il faut se rendre dans des appartements annexes assez déplorables...bref les chambres a deux lits simples ou en groupe ça va mais le reste craint : au dessus d'une boite de nuit lol !
I really enjoyed my stay here, and the room was extremely nice and clean. It definitely did not match the "hostel" archetype, other than the fact that it had a shared (but very clean) bathroom. The only negative thing was that its connected to a nightclub, so pounding music early into the morning...but it really didn't take away from the quality of my stay.

For us older folks, it was difficult to carry our luggage up a steep staircase to the second floor reception. I hope that the breakfast fare could be varied a little bit.

Tried to get me to pay with cash, claimed the credit card machine was broken. Room was very hot, air conditioning did not work....good location though.
