everything is ok (price, cleanliness and the fact that it is in the center of the town) but the music of the smokey club!!

This location did not mention of not having elevator.. but the WORSE part of this experience was the SMOKING part even the owner smoke in the Lobby not caring the place did not have any ventilation.. It was the most dicusting expirience... the rooms smell bad the hallway and the lobby..

In the room we had a window on the ceiling just opposite the beds, and the curtain didn\'t work. We ask for a repair but nobody comes in three days. Only at the check-out the concierge asks us if somebody has come. A little bit later, I think, to not seem a mockery.

Amusingly located above one of Amsterdam\'s many \"coffee shops\", this was a good budget venue. The facilities were all well kept and very clean, though, due to minor allergies, I experienced some discomfort with the strong cigarette smoke through the room. The staff members were quite helpful and the buffet breakfast good. The location was a bit of a walk from Amsterdam\'s main train station, but in a great location for access to restaurants, bars and the centre of Amsterdam. Make sure to stock up on the discount cards and all near the entrance. Also, the fire alarm works :)

The rooms are small, but there's enough space left. Perfekt overview over Rembrandplein. The hotel belongs to the Coffy Shop Smokey downsstairs and the bar Smokey.
I HAD A ROOM FOR 1 PERSON NUMBER E / IT IS LOCATED ABOVE A CAFE DANCING,CRAZY ISN'T IT .THE NOISE IS SO HEAVY THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP BEFORE 3 HOUR IN THE MORNING !!! AND I AM A PERSON WHO FALL IN SLEEP EASELY . IT WOULD BE HONEST THAT THE DIRECTOR ME THE MONEY OF ONE NIGHT SEND BECAUSE A COULD NOT SLEEP TWICE A HALF NIGHT . MY TWO CHILDREN SLEEPS IN A TWINROOM NOT ABOVE THIS DANCECAFE . FOR THEM IT IS OK A HOPE A ANSWER THANK YOU

I would not recommend this place. The rooms are dingy and small. The area is noisy and touristy. Worst of all, the nightclub below the hotel will blast music until 3 am every night, meaning that you'll lie awake at nights and contemplate the aforementioned things. Seriously, don't be tempted by the cheap price.

Dont stay here. Dont stay here. Do yourself a favor and get a real hostel or backpacker. The staff were strait up rude, acted put upon if you asked them anything. I ended up getting screwed out of money by them in the shadiest manner possible. If you want to have a good time in the Dam, dont stay here.

You have to be cautious with this hostel. It is well located but it has two different buidings. If you have luck you will be sleeping in the good one but if not you will have to listen to music until 3:00 or more. You will not be able to get asleep. The bathroom was not vey clean and it was old. The breakfast very poor. I would not recommend this hostel.

If you don´t ask much to a hoStel then OK, but there are things that could be better as the music of the pubs at down. Maybe you can´t sleep till 3:00. On the other side is near every thing you have to see in amsterdam. I will not go again to this hotel
