overall really nice hotel, just the rooms above the Smokey club are really too noisy at night, but luckily we could change rooms after the first night

The rooms where clean and nice. The first nights we stayed in the anex above club smokey and it felt like the DJ was in the room with us. Not a problem if you want to party until four in the morning but since we wanted to sleep at night it was quite anoying. The view over rembrandt square was great but acompanied by the sounds from the street. After 2 nights we got a room in the hotel section and towards the yard. The view was not so nice but the room was quiet and we all sleept alot better. The breakfast was basic but good. If you want to have orange juice with your breakfast you have to pay an additional 2 euros. All in all the hotel is good value for the money and I would stay there again, but I would make sure that the room is in the hotel and not in the anex down the street.

The place is too noisy. At least tell people to come with ear plugs or offer to sell them. The rooms smells of hash. All my clothes smell after coming back from the holiday.

We were a group of 4 girls in amsterdam for a 21st birthday weekend. Although the hotel can look off putting by the 'smokeys' bar below the hotel, once your in the hotel itself you can't even tell its there. As you are walking up the stairs, you can hear the music from the bar, but once ur in the reception area, you can't. We were in a room of 4 and even though it was shared bathroom with other rooms, it was practically like having your own bathroom anyway. The staff were always friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our bags their on the last day when our flight wasnt until the evening. The 24 hour reception is great, and your let in by a buzzer. You have to walk past the reception when you come in so it feels very safe. And they can look after your key aswel. They provided tea and coffee everyday which was good. The free breakfast wasn't bad. The location was brilliant, perfect infact. We had a brilliant stay in amsterdam. There was only one bad thing and that was the fire alarm that went off in the morning once after a night out it was horrible in the morning, but other than that no complaints.

Myself and two very good friends had one of the best weekends ever, and this was dramatically helped by staying at this friendly, helpful, and downright fun location.

Rembrandt Square Hotel was perfect for a group trip, we practically had a floor to ourselves, with a shared bathroom and it was perfect for us because one of the rooms was big enough for us all to chill in. the layout was great and the rooms were nicley set up the only downside was the steep steep stairs, but that cant be helped.

Staff was two doors down and did not know where a laundromat was.

Black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom & some on the shower curtain was a bit off-putting! Room itself was nice though.
