My boyfriend and I stayed at the residency for 1 night. The infrastructure of the building is very good, since it serves as a students' home during the year. Our room was clean with 2 beds, 1 complete bathroom with small bathtub and a kitchen (microwave, sink, fridge,2 cooking plates). There are various cheap vending machines, a computer room with internet connection, a laundramat, club room (billiard, ping-pong table, etc., which cost though). We were able to leave our luggage at the hostel af

The cleanest, mostcomfortable hostel ever. Almost new, free internet, cheap laundry, cheap parking. Close to old city. A seedy area being reclaimed. Hard to beat in Bilbao.

The comments from before were pretty acurate, except that the area is not as bad as they made it seem. I didn´t see any prostitutes, it´s just a working class immigrant neighbourhood (unlike the rest of the city). Other than that this place is not a hostel, it´s a university dorm with kitchens in the rooms, better suited if you were staying in Bilbao for a longer period and could take advantage of it. It also didn´t have the hostel atmosphere where it´s easy to meet people. But the staf
