It was great!!!! Don't listen to the other comments - as long as you've been in Japan a bit and can read subway/train schedules, you'll be fine. "On foot" directions: Get off the train station. Walk across the tracks. There are two streets - one that's paralle to the tracks, one that ain't. Take the one that is. (walk left on it) At the first street you hit - it'll be on your right - turn right. The place is the 5th-8th building on the left. Takes about 5 minutes walking time.

Although this hotel was a few minutes train ride away from the main Tokyo area... it's definitely well worth it. I look foward two visiting Tokyo again and staying here again as well!

The wonderful ladies took good care of me. I have refered this hostel to many people I know. It was very affordable for Toyko as well. Hope to visit again. Robert

Ignore the comment about location, 20 minutes to Gotanda means less than an hour from any of the major sights. Wonderful reliable staff, and the massage chairs were a huge stress buster at the end of a busy day in Tokyo.

This hostel was not in a bad spot. Once you find the hostel you will realize that you only have to change trains twice and once you get to the yamanote line you are good to go for all the major spots in Tokyo.

Honestly, the location is not the best (20 min by train to the city centre) but rush hour in Tokyo is a special experience that you shouldn't miss;-)

Really warm staff and a traditional style hostel. Good facilities as well. I would return to this hostel.

Wondefully traditional, if you dont mind being 20 minutes out of the centre of Tokyo. Massage chairs, tradition baths, internet, slippers and kimonos were great.

The character was great and the staff were nice. Even though I only spoke English i could tell they were nice. I am not sure if there was anywhere there who could speak English but if there were I did not find them. I only wished that washing and drying clothes was not so expensive and that the computer was open longer in the morning. Otherwise everything was great. Thanks!

We loved it! It is cute and cozy and we loved that it was in a small town where you can relax after a day in busy Tokyo. I would definitely stay there again when I go back to Japan.
