Hostel is poor, no breakfast is provided, no water in the room. But its a very clean nice place and staff is very friendly. Free internet access. After we checked out we had half- a-day before our train, so we left our bags safely and then returned and could lie in the sun on the roof. Hostel is excellent for its price. Location was convenient for us cause Larisa Station is not far from the hotel. The only thing I didnt like about it was a girl that was sitting with her laptop and speaking phon

This hostel is a hole in the wall, but clean. The staff is always cleaning the bathroom after someone showers, and the inside is clean. The bathrooms are NOT in the rooms, and there are only 2 bathrooms for 12 rooms!!! The night desk guy is a jerk, and is no help--see the morning and afternoon guy, he knows what hes talking about. You can smoke anywhere and everywhere in this hostel, which for nonsmokers is no fun.

Location: Two or three minutes walk from metro stop, ten minutes from National Archaeological Museum, not close to much else of interest. Security: No lockers, and wrap-around balcony provides access between rooms. But it didn't feel unsafe. Fine hostel, given how inexpensive it is.

Rooms are clean and little cozy. The staff is there 24/7 so no worries about getting locked out. We left our bags safely with them when going out to the islands. From the hostel you can walk to most of the sites in Athens. The place has free internet including wireless. Other than sometimes having to wait for the shower there is not much to complain about. I would definately stay there again.

I was very unhappy with this hostel in Athens. There was absolutely nothing good about it. The place is very dirty and has nothing good going for it. I regret spending part of my vacation at the San Remo Hostel...
