The place is very clean and the people are really nice. It's about a 15min walk to the subway but it's very close to the bars. the hostel is more a hotel, so it's not as fun but people are friendly.

The staff gives poor directions when trying to get around town. They also have high prices for Great Wall trips, which you have to pay even more money once on the trip, so they may be cheaper online. The cleaning ladies do not use any cleaning products, only a wet mop which is used on the shower floors, bathroom floors, and inside the standup potty.

I had a great time during the Olympics. The room was decent. The staff was great. The environment was amazing. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Beijing.

I stayed in Sanlitun Hostel (the hotel next to the hostel that belongs to Sanlitun Hostel) for seven nights during a bussiness trip to Beijing. The staff was very nice and tried to help with everything, but sometimes it was difficult to understand eachother. I don't speak Chinese and most of them don't speak English at all or only a few words. I was in a single room that would have been ok for a two or three nights stay when beeing on vacation. But for a whole week and having to work every dax i

this hostel is an oxymoron. i had mixed stays here. the first time i came it was awesome, room was reasonably clean etc. not knowing better, i further booked it for 4 extra stays. the second time around, it was awful. there were cockroaches in my room. my local chinese roommates refused to turn the airconditioning on so i was sweating my balls off all night. i went to ask for a change of room, and instead of offering me a equivalent or free upgrade as most places would have done, they kick

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. We only booked the stay one night but wish we would have booked our entire stay in Beijing here. The staff was wonderful. They helped us with anything we needed and everyone spoke English. We stayed at another hostel after this one and it definitly didn't compare. I recommend the Sanlitun Hostel to anyone traveling to Beijing. The food is great, the service is great, and the staff is amazing!
