When people book, they need to be very clear that blankets are not part of 'linen' and come at a charge!!

I was quiet surprise when I saw that the 7-bed room had 18 beds... and no window for half of them. It was the same thing when I saw that you had to pay to get towels. What stroke me the most is that during two nights (we stayed 5 nights), employees were drunk and made enough noise to keep us awake... I have been to other hostels in barcelona, and I can't but strongly advise you not to go to the sea point hotel.

this hostel is noisy with no partitions between dorms and the night staff being part of the problem talking loudly. i als had my towel stolen and part of the problem was the doors swing shut but dont close, so you get back and the door is unlocked for anyone to enter.

The character and beachfront location of this hostel were great (even though it wasn't close to a metro stop) and the free breakfast and all of the activities and information that was available were impressive. The charge for sheets and towels were a little obsessive as well as the fact that our room didn't have any windows.

It was RIGHT on the beach, and right down the street from the train station. However, they don't tell you that it's right down the street from the train station, so we took a metro and a bus to get there, which was ridiculous. All you have to do is walk down about 6 blocks and you're there. But having a hostel right on the beach was wonderful. But if you want to get sleep, go someplace else because most of the rooms are divided with a partition, not a wall. So it's almost like a giant 36 person dorm instead of 4 8 person rooms.
