Literally on the beach, it's insane. One foot in the hostel, the other foot on the beach. The staff was great, very helpful and eager to help, always someone awake to answer questions. Storage roomed was safe, left our bags there all day w/ no problems. Breakfast was little of choice but unlimited so overall it made up for it, just cereal, toast, juice and fruit. The only thing is if you fly Ryan Air the hostel is a ways away from the bus stop. If you are walking, just find the beach/boardwalk where the hostel is on, and walk to almost the end. You'll see a big tower thing towards the end of the boardwalk, just keep walking there, and eventually you'll find it. I can't imagine there is a better hostel in Barcelona, it's awesome!!!!!!!!

You should try and get more private rooms.

Funny system with room keys--never encountered this approach before. Makes more sense to me to give everyone their own key. We booked two months in advance but we were placed in separate rooms on arrival. The bed nearest the roof is carnage for a tall person like me! On the whole, I enjoyed my stay with you and I would come back another time.

Right on the beach, friendly staff, part of hostel network with fun tours out. When they say one room is 7 people, it is really 16 people in a room but it is a rather large room with two bathrooms. Staff speaks good English, the breakfast is AWESOME. Extra charges for top linens and locker key are a bit of a pain. Internet room has two computers and is sometimes crowded, sometimes fine. Did I mention the terrific breakfast?

The staff were the most friendly and helpful of any hostel I have ever stayed at! It was difficult to sleep because of the holes at the top of the rooms and the sleeping time was not enforced. The location was incredible - very beautiful!

The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I also like the individual light and electrical socket by each bed.

Best points: The staff and location Worst points: Odor and strange door unlocking system.

If you are going to a hostel purely for the location, this is the place. It is right on the ocean. However, staff was not friendly and the open rooms make sleeping a lot more difficult.
