When I arrived, my single (with shared bathroom) room wasn't available. The staff member wanted to give me a double and to pay 12,50EUR extra to keep the other bed vacant. I showed him the hostel.com confirmation for a single with the price payable, he but he didn't understand. He still wanted to charge me 12,50 extra and I had to explain him twice that I have a confirmation for a single and won't pay anything extra. Eventually I got double for the price of a single. Then I could not open th

the staff is friendly and the location is great. our room was fairly clean but it seems the cleaning staff each day would only sweep out our room, take out the trash and change the toilet paper if necessary. Nothing else seemed to be cleaned day to day.

I liked this place, but now I laugh that they say they are "a stone's throw away" from the Grand Place. Not the case, it's a good ten to fifteen minutes walk. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but everything was clean. You have to pay an extra charge for linens, so note that. I didn't take part in all the activities provided, but it seemed like a very active and social place. Overall I was satisfied.

I was tired and stayed in Brussels to recover from several long days of touring Europe. It was good for a rest. I'd have more to say if I stayed longer, but it was decent for a single night. The continental breakfast (included in the price) was nice.

Of all the hostels that we stayed in throughout europe (5) this was the worst. It was not terrible, but if I had to pick again I would not stay here. It wasn't dirty, but then again it wasn't clean. The showers and toliets were not very well maintained. It was cheap though. It appeared that they spent much more of their money on the ammenities and character of the place like the lounges and the paint (a horrible bright orange) then they did on the comforts and cleanliness of the rooms. The hostel is really basic but it is located in the city centre - so if you just need a place to sleep - it is really great. If you expect something more - you cam be disappointed.

We stayed in the hotel part of Sleepwell and I would recommend staying. It's really clean and has an ace location, you even get a tv in the room which has british tv. The security of the hotel itself was good however, we left our bag in the left luggage room and it got stolen. The receptionist was of no help at all, I even had to ask if I could leave my details incase somehow it was found. The thing that was so annoying was that there was another locked olcker room which was locked in the baseme
