Had construction painting dry walling while i was there. Halls smelled like paint. Rooms were small, bed lumpy, bathroom in the room was a plus, but it wasnt cleaned very well. The lookout bit sucked, but i slept in anyway one day and no one said anything. THey like you in by 2am and paris night life starts at 2am... soo... yeah.. Good Location, Reggie is the cool guy at the desk.

This great hostel surprised us in the best way of speaking: the location of the hostel is perfect! Just a minute away from the nicest street to have diner, we enjoyed three totally different perfect nights in this area! The metro is also just a step away, just as the Sacre Coeur! The hostel is clean en well-organised, and the real french balkony in our room was the finishing touch! This hostel must be the best tip you can get: you go to Paris, you go tot Coulaincourt!

The staff here was very helpful and it was really nice to get a free breakfast. Our room was nice but our toilet seat was broken. I cant compliain though because we did have a private bathroom for the six of us traveling together. The prices were very reasonable. I would definately stay here again.

reggie at the front desk is awesome. he is super helpful and glad to do so! however, i would not say the same of the rest of the staff. there is only a very small area for socializing and they shut it down at 2 am sharp. the courtyard in which the hostel was located was really cute though, and free internet was nice.

Hostel is under construction right now, but it is still nice despite this. Once it is complete, it is going to be fablous! The location is perfect.

After a night train from Florence and trying to find this place (the directions provided are not clear at all- especially to a traveller not familiar with the city), it was a cold welcome not to be able to go to my room for a rest. There are many people who have come from farther places, who are even more tired than I was and have been made to wait I am sure. This is not the only hostel in Paris who has a lock-out, but it could have been the one who decides to be more pleasant about it. Free internet is cool, but I would have appreciated a nap more.
