The guys in the register desk should be more polite. In fact, they are not kind, I had to wait more than 30 minutes to talk to one of them cuz he was on the phone, and never hesitated to pay any anttention. Awful service in the registration desk they dont even look ant the eyes of a person, the worst service ever. Please give em some education.

Hello,
The cleaning stuff (they didn´t clean the whole week, there was lots of dirt all over the room, they just made the beds when people left...) stole my lamp! It was an expensive and rare one but I think not worth stealing. It fell under the bed and I didn´t pick it up in the morning. When I returned it was gone.
So I´m wondering what they would steal if there is a possibility.
I thought that maybe they brought it to the reception but when I asked there the receptionist didn´t care at all and also didn´t appologize at all.
The place itself is nice because of its surrounding, the breakfast and the guests, but most of the stuff is unfriendly (except one black receptionist, unfortunately I don´t know his name).
I hope this will be forwarded to the management of Square Caulaincourt.
Best Regards
Stefanie
PS: the reservation worked very well!

The hostel was under renovation but it was still clean and spotless. The staff were fantastic and i think when the renovations are finished its going to be a great place. Quiet area, not far from the main party area's which means you can still get a good night sleep. Also great value for money.

The free internet, free breakfast (consisting of a croissant, baguette, cereal, and beverages), and great staff made this hostel completely worthwhile. For a fun night, the Basilique de Sacre Coeur is within walking distance, and there are many restaurants, ice cream places, tourist stands, etc. You can eat a nice meal, watch the artists sketch portraits of tourists, and get an amazing view of Paris lit up at night. We loved it!

The hostel is huge, they have a lot of rooms there, showers have it's own little dressing room, special travel and tours information desk, internet is not free but cheap... great bar inside and loved the pub crawl... and last but not least, girls at the reception are so pretty and helpful

The hotel is well located closer to the metropolitan station in Monmartre, my only complain is the cleaness of the rooms, if you dont have too much Budget this can be an option, please take some padlocks as they dont have lockers.

This is a superior hostel in most ways -- clean, well designed, with good Internet access and good facilities -- although I'm not a huge fan of Paris. The location is in Montmartre, so there are a lot of those typically Parisian streets in the vicinity, not to mention the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur, which looked great at night. I wouldn't recommend walking to the Arc de Triomph from there, but the Montmartre Cemetery was close and very fascinating.
It didn't seem like much of a party place, but that's not necessarily bad. I think people who like Paris will love this hostel.

This Hostel is located in a very good area, but should try more hard to get cleaner spaces and friendly staff. A true living room would be wonderful to meet people and have fun.
