This place was really cute and the staff were great! It wasn't close to the main sights but the area was beautiful and it was close to a metro station so it was easy to get around. Breakfast was included in the rates (even though it said it cost 5.50 euro) and was a good deal. It was only bread, juice, cereal and coffee but you pay 9 euro for the same thing anywhere else.
The hostel itself was clean but our room was smelly (mold) so people with asthma and allergies would have problems. Not sure if other rooms were the same though. Overall I had a great stay there and would go back.

good for a place to sleep, but the night life is terrible.
dont stay here if you are looking to have a good time. Stay in the Latin Quater.

Beautiful area of Montmartre!.. Could use a thorough cleaning- but having stayed in many hotels/hostels in Paris I have come to expect little by way of hygiene---

I've stayed at Square Caulaincourt for 3 days. It is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful and seemed to be available around the clock. They serve breakfast (croissant, baguette with honey, jam,...) in an extra "breakfast room" (not in the kitchen, like many others do). You get free internet access for half an hour each day. The rooms are cleaned everyday. It's more like a hotel than a hostel. So if you need an accommodation in Paris, choose Square Caulaincourt and you will be as happy as I was.

Este comentario es con el deseo de que se pueda mejorar el servicio. Nuestra reserva era para una habitación compartida con 4 personas más. Sin embargo nos dieron una habitación con cama doble y baño, por lo que estuvimos más cómodos. Sin embargo, la habitación que nos dieron era húmeda, y tuvimos la impresión que en las 4 noches que estuvimos no aspiraron la alfombra. La habitación contaba solo con 1 toalla pequeña y una grande, y pensamos que debían ser 2 y 2. Los 2 primeros días colocaron 2 jabones, el día 3 solo 1 jabón y el día 4 no hubo jabón. Las sábanas suministradas por ustedes daban la sensación de ser muy viejas y eso es incómodo. Por lo demás quedamos satisfechos del carácter, seguridad, staff, y en cuanto a la localización, es un magnífico sitio con fácil acceso al transporte.
