One night we could not sleep, because there was too much noise in front of our window.

Hostel wasn't any special. But quite ok, if you just go there to rest and sleep, anyway. Price was reasonable and own shower and toilet was reason to come to this hostel. Noice from the street and from the hallway was disturbing on the first night, but you get use to it.

I was satisfied by the accomodation conditions offered by Strawberry Hostel Wien. It has good location, it is placed on the randof the c ity center and has close connection to subway and streetcar. It is also quiet on a small street. A double room with a bathroom I used with my wife was very clean, with refrigerator and enough closets, wardrobe, writting table, phone. There is toilet paper there, but you have to bring your own towel and soap. You can drink good coffee on the main street Marialhiferstrasse 3-5min walk, which street starts there and leads to center. We can heartly recommend the restaurant against the hostel to have dinner, it was family restaurant of "Inge and Gary", excellent kitchen at normal price. There are shops (Billa) close on the close corners. The Jazz caffe, one corner further, is also nice for late dinner, drink and good jazz ambiente. Elevators of the hostel sometimes don't work, but that could be often mistake of the inhabitants who push the buttons on every stock.
So thank you Strawberry Hostel Wien!

We were very dissapointed with the shower. The moment I touched it it broke into five pieces. The staff was good. We did recieve a 10 euro discount for the shower, a nice gesture, but I was dissapointed.

This is a fine hostel. We stayed in a double room. It was a bit annoying that we got twin bed instead of double bed, but then again, not really important. Rooms are very nice and new, almost like a hotel. Unfortunately you can hear everything in the hallway, but it was always quiet a twelwe o'clock as the latest. I would clearly recommend it!

really enjoyed my two days spent - had a double one night and a single the next... actually preferred the single. FYI - single faced the courtyard, much noisier - had a 7am flight out of bratislava so tried to sleep earlier in the night. ask for a room facing street if this is a concern.

Rooms are good.

We were supposed to get a double bed room, but got two beds that were not even next to each other. Otherwise a nice place in an ok location. 24h reception and an own shover+wc in the room are a big plus.

I was travelling by car and called the front desk for directions. The staff person tried to be helpful, but said she doesn't drive and couldn't tell me how to get to the hostel by car. I know the staff are young students, but it would be helpful to have a map at the front desk. When someone calls who is travelling in a car, it would be easy to tell them how to drive to the hostel. As a result, we drove out of our way and it took an hour in Vienna traffic to reach the hostel.
Upon arriving, I was told that my room had been given away to someone else 10 minutes ago. Luckily, someone in charge found us another room. We were grateful for that, but we didn't need the added stress.
