If you travel by yourself and looking for some parties, that's definitely the place to be, very close to the beach.

The staff, were extremely helpful and accomodating and understand the 'needs' of tourists. Very good location for the beach scene

only 2 working unisex showers but very dirty and smelly. Small bed rooms filled with the smell of pot and BED BUGS! DO NOT EVEN GO HERE! Staff were rude and indifferent when we said about getting bitten by bed bugs and generally unhelpful.

Ok but a few little things would improve it. First hostel while travelling Russia, Mongolia, China, SE Asia, Australiaand New Zealand that allowed smoking - I really object it being allowed. How about some little shelves by the bunks for watch, glasses etc and perhaps individual reading lights. Some hostels even have free internet, free homebaked bread and free hot tub!
I really enjoyed my time at this hostel. if youve backpacked alot before then this is the perfect hostel for you. nice and simple with all the things you would normally expect. its situated in a perfect location for beach, bars and things to do. added bonus for the smokers is there is a smokers room. this hostel is perfect for people travelling alone as it is ideal for meeting new people and all the locals are really friendly.
Wicked location and dorms have good space, definitely stay again. Everything on your doorstep. Never went on the limo night but the pics look sweet. Hermosa beach is stunnin
Great location (nearly On The Beach), clean and fun place! Only thing is that the music from the next door bar might keep you awake until one o'clock every day... Still great though
