I recommend this Hostel. Location is good(But little bit far from MRT station). Hostel is Clean...But way to hostel so many cockroach..(especially at night)so I shocked. Anyway good value for money. Because It's very cheap

I think it's better to stay in a business hotel if you stay with one of your friend.(It was indeed cheaper than Taipei backpackers!!)
The room for 4 beds doesn't have a window and has only one fan ( it was 35 degree outside)
It was little bit far from Ximen station.
and Ximen backpackers and Taipei backpackers was same one. Don't be puzzled!
I hope other backpackers have to be wise when they consider their accomodation. different from the pictures.
However, Staff was really kind.

It was nice staying there, staffs also are very kind and helpful. if i have a chance to get Taipei, absolutely i would like to stay there again.

Well, the hostel was actually pretty good. Free internet,TV,kitchen to use. Staff was very friendly. The only problem was that wall were too thin, so youcan hear almost everything.So I would recommend wearing ear plugs for sleep. Thanks a lot.

The staff there are very friendly and they made an effort to remember the customers there. The location is great with only a 5min walking distance to ximending.In addition, there's lotsa stores located nearby thus food/beverages are easily accessible. If i would visit taiwan again, i would definitely get back to taipei backpacker! =)

Excellent place! Basically everything that we had expected from the high ratings and reviews were met and even surpassed. Really homey atmosphere and energetic, bubbly owners who are more than willing to go the extra mile for you, whenever u need help. We stayed at another hostel which actually had similarly high ratings (at that time) but paled in comparison to this. A must stay if you're looking for a comfortable, fun-filled and hassle-free trip.
