well all the rooms face into a courtyard where drunk people party till 6am. so if u want a party hostel this is the place to go. if u want any sleep at all dont come here ! the staff were very nice though and helped us out with information while the metrto strikes were on. pretty dirty though, the showers are in the courtyard outside so very cold in winter. baguette for brekky, allright. free internet.

The Three Ducks was my first experience of a hostel and was much better than I anticipated. It was in a handy location for Metros and wasnt too far from the Eiffel Tower. It was pretty noisy from the bar but not so bad that you couldnt sleep if you wanted to! The drinks int he bar were quite expensive though. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. But I'd take a much bigger towel as the showers are int eh downstairs courtyard and my room was on the balcony!

Most of the guys at reception were not nice at all, but there was one nice man and a nice woman. The breakfast is just bagettes and jam and butter with coffee or orange juice; kinda lame. The bathrooms/showers were pretty sketchy (no curtain on one)...

Everything was great except the showers got kind of dirty by night time (definately bring flip flops in with you) and if you're expecting to be quietly in bed by 9 don't come here.
