Three Ducks was functional but not very nice. The location was just 2 minutes from the Metro and close to the Eiffel tower which was nice, I felt that my stuff was safe, The breakfast was too early and the parties went to 4AM, so hopefully you are a heavy sleeper.

Great place for single travelers. A small building in a quaint neighborhood makes 3 Ducks the perfect place to meet other travelers- and a few locals.

This hostel is very cool, it is a bit old but it has an old english pub undertone. There are several things not so hot about the hostel like: rooms are closed (yes you can't be in your room) from 11am - 4pm, the subway runs under the hostel, there is a church right next to the hostel (every hour the bell rings), the hostel bar is open late so people are very loud, most of the rooms come out to the courtyard where everyone hangs out so once again (it can be loud), as far as the bathrooms outside that is not that bad. To sum up, an interesting hostel if you want a party place with character, but might not be the best choice for people intersted in a quiet night of sleep.

Staff helpful and friendly. A bit chaotic.

The toilets and the showers should not be outside in the winter, because it's just too cold.

Lots of young people, full of life and friendly. Love the patio area. Rooms not locked sometimes, valuables not very secure (but then at hostels you take that risk). Bathrooms outdoors, might have been tricky if it rained. Very close to metro, and trains are easy to understand. Very nice overall.
