The Bridge II is lovely. I'll say that you get exactly what you pay for, in that it's very bare bones and also not terribly conveniently located. It's a little haphazardly organized as well, but Jorge is delightful and his family are all very accommodating. I would love to stay here again.

We don't understand how the reviews and pictures of this hostel could be so misleading. The place was an absolute dump, we wouldn't put our worst enemies there. And now we are charged half of the booking, which we cancelled 10 days in advance, since we had booked 1 day first, March 8 and cancelled that day for the March 19-25 stay. How can we fight this, since the Manager has our Visa number?

The owner/manager of the hostel was very helpful and friendly. The place could have been cleaner and had more character and it would be a great hostel.

I came on a Saturday night and partyed w/ everyone there. The people were young and cool, from all over the world and we had fun. The accommodations were alright, but I was glad I only had to sleep in the room!

Broken door frame to my bedroom, door would not lock. bathroom light broken and a bulb hanging from a cord put up instead. Poor paint job, going over egdges in many places. Nice owner & son & cleaning lady great. Bedding good.

As a traveling student, I can't exactly afford to stay at the Hilton. The Bridge II is a good place to catch some sleep and a shower if you're going to be around the area, and it won't break the bank. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, with a lot of friendly people who stay there, but they keep it quiet enough that you can sleep if you need to. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful.
