I am 73 years old and felt very comfortablesurrounded by youth.My private room was cleanas was the rest of the hostel. The only problem was the curtain on the window would not closeall the way and privacy was a problem. I reported this early in my 6 day stay, but it was never corrected.
I will be recommending the Circus to everyone I know - 5 star accomodation at a bargain price!

Great place, o.k. location :). VERY clean and lots of room! Definitely recommend it! Watch out for expensive drinks on non-happy hour times!
The circus hostel is chill. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The cafe and bar on location allow for people, like myself, to meet fellow backpackers with ease. i dug it a lot.
I'm sure you're used to hearing this but best hostel I've ever stayed in. Why can't all hostels be like yours?
With all the investment/development in East Berlin in the last years, it makes sense to stay at a hostel in the east. Circus has new facilities, is very clean and is worth absolutely every penny.
