The Prescott Hostel is a very good hostel in Boston, we didn`t have any kind of problem of security, the staff is very nice and the common area is really cool. The problem of the distance is easy solved buying the 7days card, that cost 15 dolars and you can have unlimited trips in buses and subways. If I have another opportunity, of course I`ll come back here.

Staff was really not professional. They treated us disrespectfully. It is too bad because the place is nice, but far from the city.

One of the better hostels, the private bathroom makes it extra special. Definitely worth the price. It's true that it's quite out of the way..30 min wasn't really accurate, it's more like 45 to 1 hour from downtown montreal, depending on the traffic and how fast the bus comes. Very pleasant overall!

i stayed here in the winter so it was pretty quiet.the location was good it took about 20 mins to get right in to the city and was really easy. The bloke who runs the joint Howie is a cool dude and is a fountain of knowloge, anthing from the citys history to what banging clubs to go to.

The Prescott Hostel is excellent, the staff are really helpful and the facilities are excellent. Even though its not downtown Boston, it is an easy ride to downtown using the bus and metro- tip- a seven day pass is just $15 for unlimited use on the buses and metro. We had a great time at the Prescott and would highly recommend it.

Quiet far from the attractions. Good if you want to experience the life in the suburb.

This hostel's owner is very kind and he has a sense of humor! But, there is no air conditioner in this hostel....

The bathroom is amazing. I have never seen such a clean bathroom in a hostel. The bathroom itself is like in a hotel. The negative is the location. You have to make 2 transfers from Boston to get here. Another negative was that the first night i had to sleep on a bunk bed on top. I much prefer regular beds. there's a large TV in common room and free internet!
