The heater is not warm enough and the room is freezing...

It was kind of way out of town. And freezing if you didn't have a room with a heater. The hallways to the bathrooms also didn't have the greatest smell. But for the price it wasn't the worst thing.

The location is TERRIBLE - it takes you up to an hour to get to any places of interest in Rome

The bar and restaurant are great value and the staff are very friendly.

mmm hard to rate this hostel as when we first got there were in very odd 52 bed dorm on our own with very low lighting and worst of all no door and no lockers beside the main road. the staff were really nice and changed us to a room which was good and clean and had a door that locked. was a good campsite with regular shuttle bus but too far out

Tiber Hostel and Camping is 35-60 minutes away from the center of Rome (it depends on how long you have to wait for trains and the shuttle). If you want to spend any real time in Rome at night, this campground is not for you.

I had a blast. Rome rocked!!!! My bed had a really bad sink in the middle bit I still had fun >> What a laugh. Some of the staff were very helpful and the pasta was excellent Too bad I blew £1000.00 in london before I came for my holiday > Next time i will budget better !!

I really enjoyed this place. It's a little bit out from the city (25mins on train) but not bad. It's got a great bar/restaurant with outside and inside seating; the breakfasts served were great. One minor complaint is with the takeaway pizzas which are not fantastic. The cabins provided are excellent, and the staff friendly and helpfull. I would highly recommend Camping Tiber to anyone wishing to stay around Rome.

Really cool place to chill out by the pool, but the choice of tunes in the bar needs to be reconsidered.
