I had a really nice time at the Tiber Campside. The staff, mostly from Poland and Rumania, ist very nice and helps you wherever it can.
One quite big problem was, that there were no luggage lockers at all, you had to leave your stuff in the open dorms oder carry it around with you.
It is situated in the north of rome, it takes quite some time to get there with the public transport - this could be a problem for some people. But I have to admit that the parties in the evening are really great! It was just fun to be there.

You will be sleeping in trailers!! And they aren't very big or secure. It will take you at least an hour to get into the city, so be sure to take that into account when planning.

This wasn't a bad hostel. The price is very good. This is a camping with dormitories so you got to expect the level of cleanliness of a camping. But for a camping it's good. The security just doesn't exist: there are no keys and even no doors in dormitory so keep your valuable stuff with you. You don't have access to electrical plugs outside bathrooms. It's a little far from the city (30-40 min.) so you leave in the morning and you get back at night. Free internet: that's good! It wasn't bad overall, but I've seen better!

Really enjoyed our stay at Tiber. It was good basic accomodation for the money- nice pool and good food at the restaurant. Can take a while to get into the city by train and subway even with the convenient shuttle bus to the station but beats trying to drive in Rome's "unruly" traffic. Shuttles to airports are available as well.

We stayed here and found the staff accomadating. The grounds were well kept and out of the city. The train ride to the city was short and easy. The campgroud provides trasportation to and from the airport(either one for a fee) as long as you let them know you need a ride 2 days in advance. They also provide free trasport to and from the traidn station, It was nice to come back to a calmer place after a hectic day in Rome. We would stay with them again. Remember to bring a towel with you if you stay in one of their trailers. PS if you are staying during the hot summer they have a few trailers with AC.

Tiber was a nice place to stay, being able to swim in the pool and all. It is a bit far from the center of Rome, and you have to schedule your days according to the bus that goes from the camp site to the city center. But other than that, it's pretty nice at Tiber!

we never got there because everyone we asked, including taxi drivers, didnt know where to find it. this made us lose out on 80 dollars. if you want to stay IN Rome, dont stay here, apparently nobody knows where to find it
