So this place is def worth the money. It was only 12 euro a night! I of course can't give it great ratings but I would stay here again. You get no sheets and kinda just have to find other peoples and steal them off of their beds but whatever. the showers are pretty cool...

Um camping tiber was located way far away from the center of rome so i never really got to go out for rome night life because the trains stop and so does the shuttle from the camping tiber to the train. however i did enjoy myself at the bar at the tiber with the people there. the bathrooms were very clean and the beds were acceptable.

Great place. Would definitely stay there again. ALTHOUGH... don't plan on walking there at night. The neighborhood it is very scary and not safe. I had to walk there from the bus station at 2am in the morning.

For the quiet outside of Rome this was brilliant. Not far from centre of Rome on the trains even better. A hetic day seeing the sights, to peaceful chats and cold beer back at camp. The bus service to and from the camp to the metro- brilliant. Staff working in the bar and resturant lovely and helpful. Tiber camping is highly recommended from some well seasoned travellers! All round double thumbs up!

Even you spend about half an hour to reach the camping it is the best choice for those who are looking for the combination of relaxing mornigs by the pool with real city life of Rome in the afternoon.

Restaurant/bar and the chance to meet lots of fun people are two of my favorite things about this site. However, the location is VERY cumbersome to get too, as Rome's public transportation system sucks. On top of that, the site's shuttle bus stops coming at 11pm, so don't plan on seeing anything late. Wasn't too much of a problem, though, since the restaurant was so good to eat dinner at, even better than some that we went to in Rome itself.

I was not pleased that the property is located so far outside central Rome. This put a hindrance on me experiencing Rome's nightlife and excelent late night dining because the the shuttle that picks you up from the metro stops after 11:30PM. However, because of Tiber's inconvenient location in Rome, they do have a decent restaurant and bar with fairly resonable prices. I didn't feel like I was in Rome at Tiber on account of all the American, British and Australian travelers. Overall, I suggest staying inside central Rome if you can so you can take advantage of Trastevere's nice restaurant scene.
