Had a minor problem with our heater in the room going 24/7 but it was fixed the next day! I highly recommend this hostel! :):)

The only thing the place really lacks is a roof terrace or somesuch; security issues obviously provide an obstacle in that regard!

Had a great time at your hostel.It was very clean, safe, great location. Kitchen sometimes was a bit messy because guests didn't put away their plates and cups.

Clean and friendly place, love the outlets inside the lockers. In a weird neighborhood, but i didn't have any problems, even the bums in SF are cool. Internet fee a bit much... Very good common room (even though I was out all the time.) i booked a female dorm but they didn't have my reservation and i ended up in a co-ed dorm the whole week. One of the staff members said they would change my room but never did even though i reminded them of it.
I cant put my finger on it but there was just something about this hostel that totally worked! The staff were brill, the rooms were good and the events they put on were well organised. Only bad point is I booked a ensuite room and this meant my room had a sink - I dont really constitue that as an ensuite!

the rooms were cold at night, so ask for an extra blanket-besides that, the staff was amazing and the free pancakes were GREAT!

Overall very good! Only request would be to add individual lights to the bunk beds and a shelf for the top bed (for glasses or a book/alarm clock) as it was kind of awkward up there. Pancake breakfast thing didn't really impress me, coffee was out and it was hard to know what to do, lots of people. But I would stay again, very clean and great location.
