For the location and the facilities available, it is rather overpriced. Also, the shower/bathroom facilities are quite unsatisfactory, with most of the showers unusable.

The hostel had friendly staff. other then that - nothing. Drainage problems in bathroom, No ventilation whatsoever in bedroom and no complimentary breakfast worth eating.

Considering the previous reviews, it certainly was better than I expected!! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, AND there WAS toilet paper. The only downside was that I think they're doing renovations and the window wouldn't close all the way and there wasn't a blind...pretty sure that was just temporary though.

Didn't like the place, very far from the good things to see and do, and overall they charged too much for what they provided.

I had a great time. The security wasnt the best, but it doesnt really need to be in a place like Edinbourgh. It was better than the last place i stayed.

Toilet paper was a luxury and hand soap non-existent. I don't expect much from hostels, but you guys certainly lowered the bar.

It was a nice hostel. Location was GREAT. cant get much better, and price was good as well. The rooms were nice. I was in a 16 person room and everything was clean, and nice. The one problem we did have was only 2 out of 6 showers had hot water, which made a little hastle. Also bathrooms werent very clean. The should be cleaned daily so bring sandals. Besides that it was nice, and i would probably stay there again. The free breakfast isnt bad. Cup of coffee, 2 slices of bread, and cereal. So it was good enough.

A great place, I'd definately stay there again, met a heap of really great people, only bad thing was the showers.. only two of them had hot water but its not the end of the world!

Only 1 shower was working.. and it's during the busy day.. which means, everyone was so pissed to wait for the working one. Not sure why they didn't fix the rest. when we check out, no one at the counter and i didnt manage to get my deposit back. It was 9am. The check out time is 10am. Really dissapointed

You spend 20 minutes walking from city center to the hostel. Few showers, quite small rooms. but the staff help you as much as they can.
