The only thing that bothers us (we were a group of four) was that in the morning there was no hot water to take a shower?!!!????!?
And about fun: There could be something else: some music, dance etc. Otherwise, very nice + thank you for all.

I had the best time in Vienna!!! The hostel was great and clean, there was tons of stuff to do and see, the Christmas markets were awesome!! the only thing that kind of sucked was that it is a little out of town and the directions given on the net and even the ones at the train station info booth were a little off and the names of the stops to go to were wrong, make sure you go by what stops they say, eg. second, third, not by stop names!! All in all a great place though, and by far the best place to stay in Vienna!!!!

This hostel was a good stay, clean, safe, and fun with the bar down stairs. It is however a little out of the way for most things, so be prepared to walk or catch transit, other than that enjoy

Everything was pretty good. The bar downstairs was packed everynight I was there. Worst thing about it was staying in the same room with two guys who snored all night.

This place is huge, so if you want an small place where you can get to know a small group of people, forget about this joint. But Vienna is not much of a party town, the bars are steep. So if you want to Party, Wombats is a good choice. The place is clean, the in-room bathrooms are a plus and it's very close to the West Train station and within walking distance from the Hapsburg happenings.
