According to the website the hostel was only 10 minutes from the historical centre. On arrival i was taken to Itapoa which is aprox 1hr bus ride away. We were than put up in an empty flat, with only mattresses. I didnot think any of the accomodation provided was worth the kind of money i paid for. Very dissapointed

This was a HORRIBLE experience, the owners completly falsly advertised their website, do not trust what they say. In fact the hostel moved 4 months before i or any of the other occupants stayed there yet none of us were informed of this change. Many of the other occupants had tried to meet with the owner to get the situation taken care of however she didnt show up any of the 3 times they tried to meet her, a tourist complaint was filed, and when a meeting was finally attended by the owners husband he was rude, unattentive, and blew off many of our complaints. The hostel ended up being nothing that was advertised, it was a 30 minute taxi ride from the center and an hour and a half bus ride. When they finally moved us after some people had stayed for a week, they moved us to a dingy little apartment in a decent location that had NO furnature and just mattresses on the bed. they refused to refund any money even though a few people had payed a lot of money in taxis to go back and forth to the city everyday. These people were underhanded crooks that took advatage of us every chance they had. I have never been so disrespected. No one should be treated as i have for the past week, DO NOT TRUST EDUARDO When my cab pulled up there was no sign on the door or anything notifying me it was a hostel, additionally it was in a dodgy neighborhood so i refused to get out of the cab until someone came out and sure enough it was the right place.

Lili and the staff made this hostel really worth it. Lili indulged me by conversing with me in Italian and made the time go by very fast....please make sure that she get´s a pay raise. Pelo is not what I expected it to be.....very touristy and not worth spending more than a day in....but the hostel was like a breath of fresh air...wonderful breakfast....fresh local fruits and juices, baked cakes....and pleasant staff....and hammocks and good music....ect.
