First time in a hostal, pleasantly surprised. Very basic but extremely clean. Room cleaned daily and clean towels supplied.

Hilarious scatterbrained Scottish owner welcomes you. We were treated to free beer and an incredible view of a flamenco show from the beautiful rooftop terrace. Perfectly located about 5 minutes from the beach. Very cheap private double, highly recommened. Hard to find, with NO directions.

We would highly recommend Hostel del Pilar, you couldn't ask for more for your money. Can't see how you would be disappointed! Excellent location, 5mins from beach and right in the old town with lots of nice shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep.

They gave us free beer that was good. It was a pretty decent price in a city where there aren't too many good deals. The staff spoke English but were at times a little bit awkward. Bastante bien para lo que pagas, con buena ubicacion y habitaciones normales.
