best hostel ever!

It has an exotic Value as its 100+ yrs old as per the caretaker. But a little too scary and the room is tooo small. Its very warm when i visited in May. Very difficult to sleep unless u r really tired. Lot of noice from the nearby Disco. I doubt whether I will go back. There are airconditioned places at 45RM and hotels at 60. so y spend 25 and suffer?

A nice little retreat from the commercial backpackers strip only a short walk away from everything. Owner is really helpful.

A truly excellent hostel - it really is the real deal, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would really recommend it to anyone staying in Penang. Great location, is very nearby everything you need, and the staff are always on hand to point in the right direction!

A nice place with a good location in Chinatown, but not on the dumb tourist street. Probably the oddest hostel I've ever stayed in. Nice place with a very nice owner, rooms are a little small, but hey, it's cheap. It does happen to be near a club so you get some bass boom at night sometimes, and THE WINDOWS NEED SCREENS! The mosquitoes were beyond ridiculous.
