The location of this hostel is fantastic - right at the heart of the action! Unfortunately, this means there is a lot of noise at night time, but ear plugs are an easy solution to this problem. The staff are great, there's a nice wee kitchen downstairs and the bar is a cool place to chat to fellow travellers.

to say the truth - the 12bed dorm is to small. It's difficult to walk thru beds and move around. Tha kitchen downstairs is nice place!

Stayed at other Hostels close by, not Backpackers Pub.

The double room ensuite we stayed in was newly renovated but it was not at the same location as the hostel but three blocks away. This was quite annoying when you wanted to cook, for example and it was not in the old town anymore.
