location is fantastic right in front of train station, but the hostel would need to be seriously refreshed, quite old and not really the cleanest...

Right across the street from beautiful Kyoto station. Very convenient. Traditional Japanese style with Tatami and Onsen. Only downside is the 23:00 curfew
