we enjoyed our stay at Daiya Ryokan. the staff was very kind and collaborative. especially we liked to relax in the japanese bath.

We turned up really late and found the place after the check in time however the guy who owns it was really nice, got out of bed and set up all our stuff and he thought we were just randomly turning up. Very nice place would def reccomend!

This place was in a great location and the host was friendly. The ryokan suffered from being a bit run down and not really able to handle the number of guests - 1 shower to lots of guests and i found it to be pretty unclean. Not my first choice in Kyoto.

The woman that ran the place was very sweet and very helpful. She gave us recommendations for places to eat that were delicious. The rooms were very nice.
