the staff is nice! the location is quite good; not very far of the lake tahoe and of down town and casinos (around 15-20 min walking)! the hostel is like a small house and you share it with the staff.It's not very fun and a little bit messy but it's really cool to have a youth hostel near the lake tahoe!

I liked the size of this hostel because it wasn't so crowded with a ton of people. I got to enjoy the company of the rest of the guests and the hostel owner so it made my experience at this particular hostel very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to others.
