The staff is its best asset---friendly, helpful, patient, multi-cultural (a Chinese elevator attendant, Malay front desk manager), smiling. The cleanliness is what also clinched the deal. Fresh linens, spotless bathrooms, immaculate carpeting. If only the rest of Singapore hostels were like this...
