At first, I thought I wasn't going to like the hotel, but all in all it was great to meet the other guests, we got together and drank downstairs. Over all you get what you pay for, and with the new people I met, at was a great stay.

The hotel could use a lick of paint and some more private showers, but it is cheap, comfortable and has all the facilities you need for a short-term stay. The hotel is near the JR and Subway-line, so easy to reach. The neighbourhood has a lot of homeless people, so be careful.

it\'s one private shower for the whole building. which is pretty crazy. there are communal showers, but they close for a lot of the day. the rooms are tiny but functional with a tv and wi-fi in all rooms. good value for the price. area is not so sanitised, but still safe. some have quite a cool view of the area. it\'s seconds from stations on two key train lines (city loop included). A single room in this place costs less than you\'d be paying weekly for an apartment in a big city in Australia/US/UK, so it\'s pretty amazing value, especially for Japan.

In a lesser part of Osaka, this hostel is not without its charms. Free internet, free towel and robe, nice public bath, cheap laundry and bike rental. 15 minutes from Osaka station, it's on the Osaka Loop Line. Caddy-corner from the JR station AND the subway. JR Shin-Imamiya is a major stop, accessible even by express train. Close to party strips, electronics district, and an abandoned amusement park. Awesome.
