location was good but area was a bit run down, shouldnt put you off though. also, rooms aren't cleaned unless you request them to be which can be good or bad.

I definetely won't recommend this Hostel (Is not an Hotel) NEVER.... The place is an old building surrounded by the dirtiest fellows you can ever met in the lower part of Japan. There's no locker at all, and you are forced to carry all your values with you even if you're going to the nearest "convencience" store (sorrounded by scary people btw, the location is bad, is besides the train rails, and you're gonna be booked near them and you'll have to wake up by 5 am either because of the strong noise or to win one of the 3 shower rooms before they get crowded... the Staff is very nice, and they try to help you out in anything. The place is not fun itself (even if there's a TV in the room, you won't have any fun watching the weather channel all night, (only 4 channels work)... The place is not clean, there's this weird smell that is so similar to old books... is ok for 5 min..then it sorta bothers because is in the room too... The Cofee thing is very nice, ok... but is not enough for me to recommend this place. ahh the Free internet, there are 3 laptos... all with problems and at the end only 1 works. I am sorry to give this bad oppinion, but is what I lived there...

If you want a good clean place to stay that does not cost a fortune then Hotel Chuo is great. There are Western Style Toilets on every level (I think) and there are three private shower rooms which are actually ROOMS. The computers are not actually comptuers they are Laptops and well they are free so you can`t complain. Anyway the place is surprisingly clean and tidy and the best place I have stayed in Japan thus far. There are three stations very close and it is easy to get places. It takes like 5 mins on the train to get to Namba.

very nice place to us... coffe in the morning is great start for us too. clean, good nice shower rooms. very good value for money. only thing is it is very near the JR lines... so the JR trains will affect your sleep at least till mid night (and until the lines start operating in the early morning) ... not unless u are a heavy sleeper. otherwise its a great place to stay.

reasonable good service and value for money as being quite near to subway and not too far from resorts.
