The cleanliness of the hostel is a mess! We were bitten already in the first night of millions of bugs in the bed!!! It was really terrible! We can really not recommend this hostel.

Ivano is a real character and he will show you a great time. Go out for the real italian dinner and you wont be disappointed. The hostel is very close to all that Rome has to offer. Ladies, make sure not to lose ten nothing at fussball!

Fun hostel, but kind of far away from the main attractions (except for the Vattican, which is right there). All in all a good experience and thumbs up on the cleanliness!

Stayed here 6 nights. Great place to stay. The owner Ivano lives there and he's a character and a half. The place was the cleanest hostel I stayed at in my 5 week trip. I never noticed any bedbug bites. The staff is very friendly and I was surprised at the quality of their english. Internet connection is fast (I never got around to installing java though) and best of all free! My biggest word of advice is to DEFINITELY go on the dinner. 20 euro may sound like a lot initially, but you're in for a night of great authentic italian food, wine, and conversation.
This hostel only has one shower for 10+ people and the hot water did not work. Very disappointing, especially with the pricetag.
