This hostel is immaculate in its cleanliness and is beautifully renovated with lots of couches, nice kitchen, and even some instruments lying around for people to play. Only problem is this place is all about rules rules rules! Curfew at 1am after which you get locked out or have to bang on all the windows to be let in? Shower tokens only allowing you 8 minutes of shower a day? Makes you feel like you're in grade school all over again.

Wonderful hostel, homely and clean and great staff- Monterey is a brilliant town and I hope to stay here again one day.

The common room in this hostel is really big with lots of comfotable seating including great corner unit sofas! It's an 'adult' hostel rather than a party hostel but very close to all the resturants & bars to have a good time too..... Only one minor compliant - no activities

would suggest no curfew

This is the only hostel , so if you really want to see Monterey you have no choice. the rooms are large and clean, as is the communal area. The character of this hostel, however, is nonexistant and it also has a curfew.
