The camp was hard to find as the signage out front wasnt very big and NO signs in Bran! The camp is 3km form the castle and NO signs to inform you where it is from the castle! The number given for the camping was uncontactable and we left messages. because of this we lost our reservation so we were provided with a small old tent for not much less. The staff didnt really seem to know about the hostel world reservation!!!! It was all a bit suspect.

Advertised as mixed dorm. Arrived to find out that it was a tent and needed sleeping bag. Was not advised of this on internet. Was sent an email about tent but as travelling was difficult to check emails everyday so did not receive information.

Well, it is a campsite, but a very good one! hot, clean showers, nice tents to rent, and the most heplful staff ever (Tony is the best!) I truly recommend camping in Romania, it adds to the ambience of the place. But maybe try it in summertime, it gets pretty chilly by the end of October!
