The hostes is really lovely and helpful, and the ryokan is very comfortable. She lent us some bicycle to us for free because moving around Matsumoto by bicycle is the best way.

Ryokan Seifu-so is still the best place I\'ve stayed at here in Japan! It is a really nice place in a beautiful town that was not too crowded and has a lot to do. There are free bicycles and internet access, and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I want to go back to Matsumoto just to stay there again.

Toilets should have hooks to hang undies and trousers.

Very nice quiet town to be spending a day and night in. The lady boss was very accomodating, we got a ride from Matsumoto Train Station to the ryokan following the phone call to the ryokan when we reached the train station. Rooms were very nice and clean and can borrow the bicycles to explore the area. Very worth it!
